TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida A&M fell 45-7 to North Carolina Central at home Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles improved to 5-2 on the season while the Rattlers dropped to 1-4.
Thad Franklin Jr. led all Rattlers rushers with 42 yards and one touchdown in the contest, picking up 4.7 yards per carry. Franklin also added 34 receiving yards. Jamal Hailey also added 11 yards on the ground.
Jalen Rogers reeled in two catches for 44 yards.
Chase Lloyd showed out for the Florida A&M defense, recording four tackles and one interception.
How It Happened
After North Carolina Central opened up a 28-0 lead, Florida A&M got on the board with 10:41 remaining in the third quarter to narrow the margin to 28-7. Florida A&M didn't score again in the game and North Carolina Central tacked on 17 more points to finish off the scoring.
