GRAMBLING, La. –– The Florida A&M Rattlers look to snap a three-game losing streak as they head to Louisiana to face the Grambling State Tigers in a Monday night SWAC matchup. Both teams are seeking their first conference win of the season.

The Rattlers are coming off a tough 91-57 road loss at Southern University, while Grambling State dropped their last game 65-59 at home to Bethune-Cookman.

Senior guard Sterling Young is leading the way for FAMU, averaging a team-high 12.6 points per game while shooting 36.9% from three-point range. Milton Matthews has provided a strong second scoring option, contributing 10.1 points per game and connecting on 30% of his three-point attempts.

Grambling State is led by a trio of double-digit scorers: Antwan Burnett (12.2 PPG), Kintavious Dozier (10.9 PPG), and Mikale Stevenson (10.8 PPG). Stevenson has been particularly effective as a distributor, leading the team with 67 assists.

Keys to Victory for FAMU:
- Improve shooting efficiency: The Rattlers are shooting just 41.4% from the field this season
- Control the glass: FAMU has struggled with a -6.2 rebound margin
- Limit turnovers: The Rattlers are averaging 15.1 turnovers per game

The game will be played at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center, where Grambling State holds a 3-2 home record this season.
