TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M volleyball team (7-3) is a few weeks away from the start of its Southwestern Athletic Conference schedule and will use the Ragin' Cajuns Classic as its final prep. Louisiana will host the Rattlers, Southeastern Louisiana, and Jacksonville State (Sept. 20-21).

The Last Outing
Florida A&M went 2-1 in its last trip to Louisiana, which highlighted a 3-1 victory over Incarnate Word and a 3-0 win against New Orleans.
- The Rattlers have swept UNO twice this season, both on the road and at home
- FAMU was working a 5-0 winning streak before its 3-0 loss to McNeese State
- Watts recorded a team-high 39 kills during the Louisiana trip, the 18 against UIW ties for second most in a SWAC match this season
- Rhodes posted double-doubles versus UIW (11 kills, team-high 17 digs) and UNO (10 kills, 10 digs)
- Tinons Galmés totaled 28 digs against Incarnate Word (the most recorded in a SWAC match this season)

- Florida A&M reached the Southwestern Athletic Conference championship match for the third consecutive season but fell short of a three-peat, losing 3-0 to Jackson State.
- The Rattlers finished the season with an 18-14 overall record and a 12-4 mark in SWAC play. Before facing JSU in the title match, they were riding an eight-match winning streak.
- Brooke Hudson was honored as the SWAC Libero of the Year and earned First Team All-SWAC honors alongside Brooke Lynn Watts and Camila De La Rosa. Isis Williams and Iyonnie Sanford were named to the Second Team All-SWAC.
