Rattlers have four named BOXTOROW Preseason All-American

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M football has four named BOXTOROW Preseason All-American as Kendall Bohler, Deco Wilson, Ashton Grable, and Cameron Gillis earn recognition.

Kendall Bohler | Defensive Back
Bohler is the top defensive returner from the nation's best defense in 2023 after finishing the season with 39 tackles, 14 pass breakups, and an interception in the Celebration Bowl. Bohler also made the All-SWAC First Team, BOXTOROW All-American, Aeneas Williams Award Finalist, Bruce Feldman Freak List member, and was on the 2023 Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List.

• East-West Shrine Bowl 1,000 Watch List
• Preseason All-SWAC First Team
• Hero Sports 7th ranked cornerback in the nation

Deco Wilson | Defensive Back
Wilson returns tied as the Rattlers top tackler with 39 tackles. Wilson was also a ballhawk, leading the nation's best defense with three interceptions. Wilson also had an interception in the Celebration Bowl win.

Ashton Grable | Offensive Lineman
Grable started all 11 games (seven at left tackle, four at right guard) and allowed two sacks this season on 370 pass-blocking attempts. Responsible for 22 'dominator blocks,' 11 knockdown blocks, and two cut blocks. Grable recorded a PFF grade of 70.1 in pass protection, including three games with a grade higher than 85.0. Grable was the most versatile and athletic offensive lineman for the Rattlers in 2023, providing physicality in all phases of the game.

Cameron Gillis | Kicker
Cameron Gillis led the SWAC in scoring with 71 points. Gillis went 10-12 kicking, with his only two misses being blocked kicks. Gillis also went a perfect 41-41 on extra points.
