Rattlers Claim SWAC East Regular Season Championship, set to play UAPB

TALLAHASSEE, Fla –– Florida A&M softball took a huge leap in the second season under Camise Patterson, going from fourth in the SWAC East in 2023 to claiming the one spot in the east with a 19-5 record, winning their first SWAC East Regular Season Championship.

Next week, the Rattlers travel to Gulfport, Mississippi, for the SWAC Tournament and expect to play the four seed in the West, Arkansas-Pine Bluff (UAPB). UAPB is currently 8-14 with two makeup games to play, but they will be the four-seed no matter the outcome.
