TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M football linebacker Isaiah Major received a minicamp invite from the New Orleans Saints.

Major joined the Rattlers ahead of the 2022 season and had been the leader of the Dark Clouds Defense since. Major had a dominant two years with the Rattlers, being named the 2023 SWAC Defensive Player of the Year, two-time BOXTOROW All-American, two-time All-SWAC First Team, and the Celebration Bowl Defensive MVP. Major was also part of a defense that was nationally recognized in both seasons. 

In two seasons, Major recorded 189 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, six sacks, seven pass deflections, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries. Major also returned one of those interceptions for a touchdown.
