TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M softball has been handling business during SWAC play as they enter the weekend in first place in the East with a 16-4 conference record. The Rattlers will face a rescheduled game versus Mississippi Valley on Thursday, followed by a weekend series versus Alabama A&M.
The Rattlers enter this weekend with the second-best batting average (.332) in conference play. Rattlers are also in the top three in hits (191), triples (9), and on-base percentage (.384).
After Friday's losses, the Delta Devilletes enter Thursday's game trailing 2-0 to the Rattlers (6-3) (4-0).
The Bulldogs enter the series on a two-game losing streak and lost the weekend series to Jackson State.
The Rattlers will face the Delta Devilletes on Thursday, April 25, at 1 p.m. The Rattlers will begin their series versus the Bulldogs on Friday, April 26, at 6 p.m.
Saturday, the Rattlers will also recognize four seniors: Mia Blasingane, Nyah Morgan, Amaya Gainer, and Nyomi Jones.
