TALLAHASSEE, FL --Florida A&M got contributions from every part of their lineup, as all nine starters reached base safely, helping the Rattlers put 17 runs on the board and defeat the Alabama A&M Bulldogs 17-11 Saturday.
Freshman Carson Kelly (5-1) started on the mound and picked up the win for Florida A&M (20-18, 4-14). The right-hander went five innings, giving up five runs, four earned, on five hits, allowing three walks and striking out five.
At the plate, the Rattlers were paced by senior Sebastian Greico, who went 3-for-5 on the day with a triple, a home run and three RBI. Senior Evan Badger furnished a standout day at the dish as well, going 3-for-5 with a double, a walk and three RBI. Senior True Fontenot also helped out for Florida A&M, putting together two hits in four trips to the plate while adding a walk and three RBI.
