Rattlers finish second in SWAC Championship after strong final day

FLOWOOD, Miss –– Florida A&M golf finished strong on day three with a 284 (-4), but it was not enough, finishing in second place with an 882 (+18).

The Rattlers had the best day three, as they were the only team to shoot below par. Patrick Mwendapole and Taylor Bell had the best outing with a 70 (-2). Marcus Taylor followed with a 71 (-1), and Patrick Jean-Pierre finished with a 73 (+1).

Jean-Pierre finished the weekend tied for third with a 218 (+2), putting him on the All-SWAC First Team. Mwendapole finished the weekend tied for ninth with a 221 (+5), putting him on the All-SWAC Second Team.
