The Rattlers enter the game on a two-game home winning streak after beating Alabama A&M and Alabama State in Al Lawson.
 
The Rattlers will be honoring Shannon Grant and Hantz Louis-Juene before the game. 
 
Shannon Grant has been one of the Rattlers' most consistent scorers this season, averaging 10.8 points per game (25th in SWAC). Grant has scored 10+ points in 18 of the 27 games played. Grant led the Rattlers in scoring three times this season. Grant was also the Rattlers' second-leading rebounder, averaging 4.7 rebounds per game (16th in SWAC). Grant also led the Rattlers in blocks per game with .7 (13th in SWAC).
 
Hantz Louis-Juene spent the last two seasons with the Rattlers, averaging 5.9 points per game, 3.1 rebounds per game, and 1.3 assists per game. Louis-Juene scored 10+ points ten times and a career-high 19 points this season versus LeMoyne-Owen. Louis-Juene also had 12 games where he grabbed at least five rebounds and 11 games recording at least three assists. Louis-Juene also had a SportsCenter Top 10 play when he blocked a dunk attempt at Louisville in 2022.
 
The Rattlers are led by Jalen Speer, who averages 15.5 points per game. Keith Lamar (13.7 PPG) and Shannon Grant (10.8 PPG) have been the Rattlers' other primary scorers.
