FORT WORTH, Texas –– The Florida A&M men's basketball team got a 45-point showing from the bench, but fell 105-59 to the TCU Horned Frogs on the road Monday.
Sterling Young led the Rattlers (0-1) with 16 points. Saiyd Burnside tacked on eight points from the bench and Tyler Shirley helped out with six points off of the bench.
The Florida A&M offense knocked down eight threes on 34 attempts. Milton Matthews was the most prolific shooter for the Rattlers, draining two treys in the contest.
How It Happened
Florida A&M struggled out of the gate, falling behind 59-22 heading into halftime.
Florida A&M could not pull any closer in the second half, losing by a final of 105-59. Florida A&M shot well from three-point range in the half, hitting six shots from deep to score 18 of its 37 points.
