Troy Stribling makes professional debut in APGA at Valhalla

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M Golf's Troy Stribling has been invited to the APGA Tour and participates in his first professional event at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, Sunday July 23-25.

"We are so excited for Troy to make his professional debut at Valhalla Golf Course this week," said Head Coach Mike Rice. "He worked so hard for this opportunity, and we are proud of him for this accomplishment. With his talent, we expect him to do well on the APGA Tour, and we will be following his journey closely. I hope he has a lot of fun and enjoys the moment because he has earned it."

Stribling enters the APGA as the fourth-ranked minority golfer, tied for 20th in the 2023 PGA Works Collegiate Championship, and participated in the 2022 Charlie Sifford Centennial Cup, winning on Team Sifford.
