ABOUT THE COURSE
Ocean Creek Golf Club, designed by PGA Champion Davis Love III and Paul Cowley was opened in 1995. Incorporating sweeping views of saltwater marshes, freshwater lagoons, lush jungle vegetation and four distinctive rolling dune ridges, this beautiful course is 6,392 total yards and a par 71. "The Creek" features five sets of tees including the Wee-Links tees that make the course enjoyable for all skill levels and a fair challenge to the advanced player.

The signature sixth and seventh holes are situated on the "Old House Creek" and marsh, which Jacques Cousteau called "one of the most pristine salt-water marsh habitats in the world". Five holes are edged by marsh, while another six incorporate interior wetlands, preserved and connected to the course through a network of wooden walkways and bridges.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE RATTLERS
Emilio Garcia fired a 4-under par 136 over the course of the weekend, helping Florida A&M Men's Golf to the team title while he captured the individual medalist award at the 2026 edition of the SAS Championship HBCU Invitational housed at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, North Carolina.

Emilio Garcia, a 5-foot-7 junior from Orlando, Florida, followed an opening 68 with another 68 at par-70, 7,015-yard Prestonwood Country Club to finish one stroke ahead of three golfers tied at 3-under 137 – FAMU teammate Skyler Woods (68-69), North Carolina A&T's Jorge E. Hernandez (66-71) and North Carolina Central's Jamal Hutchison (68-69).

Garcia started the final round two strokes behind Hernandez, who opened with a tournament-low 66. Hernandez slipped to a 71 on Sunday, while Garcia's 68 was the second-lowest round of the day, behind only Chicago State's Kaleb Lambert's 67.

As a collective, the Rattlers finished at 5-under 555, the only team in the four-team field to finish under par.

The Orange and Green shot 274 (6-under) in the opening round to build a four-stroke lead over North Carolina A&T, then added a 281 on Sunday. Chicago State and North Carolina Central tied for second at 571 (11-over), and North Carolina A&T was fourth at 574 (14-over) after a 296 in the second round.
