TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida A&M Softball's Head Coach Camise Patterson recently attended the NCAA Women Coaches Academy & Academy 2.0 and left being a co-recipient of the 2023 Academy 2.0 Cecile Reynaud Coaching Mastery Award.
"To be recognized as a co-recipient of the Cecile Reynaud Coaching Mastery Award is an amazing honor," said Head Softball Coach Camise Patterson. "Being recognized for embodying the characteristics of a coach the caliber of Cecile Reynaud reaffirms that I am where I'm supposed to be and doing what I'm supposed to do! Thank you, God, for allowing me to help grow the game and advocate for women coaches. Thank you to WeCOACH for going above and beyond to help women coaches from all levels stay in coaching. The valuable partnerships, learning opportunities, and mentors that WeCOACH provides to its members is so needed. Thank you to the SWAC for helping Move The Numbers as a conference partner. Thank you to AD Tiffani-Dawn Sykes and our administration at Florida A&M for recognizing that coaches need coaches too. Your administrative support continues to allow our university to keep reaching new heights."
This award recognizes a member of Academy 2.0 who embodies the characteristics of Coach Reynaud: leadership, commitment to personal development and the advancement of others, and a deep care and respect for the game.
