TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M golfers Patrick Jean-Pierre and Troy Stribling will spend their weekend in Rochester, New York, at the 2023 PGA Championship to assist the CBS Sports production team as a golf spotter.
"I'm grateful to be able to go to the PGA Championship," said Jean-Pierre. "It's a golfer's dream. I also appreciate CBS for allowing us to work with them for the week."
"I am very excited to be a part of the PGA Championship this week," said Stribling. "CBS has given us a great opportunity to network and be a part of a special week for us and the professionals participating. This tournament happens once a year, and I am excited to be a part of it thanks to CBS."
Jean-Pierre and Stribling will have an opportunity to meet various CBS executives throughout the weekend and will serve as spotters throughout the Championships, wrapping up on Sunday, May 21st.
As a spotter, Jean-Pierre and Stribling's role is to assist the CBS production team with the order of play after each shot. They will be assigned to a group of golfers, which will be the group they will follow along the course as they play through their rounds.
