JACKSON, Miss. –– Florida A&M softball travels to Jackson, Mississippi, in a crucial final series of the season to secure a spot in the SWAC Tournament, with the first game being played Friday, April 28, at 4:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPNU.
The Rattlers head into the series with a half-game lead over Jackson State and can clinch a spot in the SWAC Tournament with a series win. The Rattlers are heading into the weekend on a two-game losing streak as the Tigers are on their longest winning streak of the season at five after sweeping Mississippi Valley and winning the series versus Bethune-Cookman.
The Rattlers currently lead the season series versus the Tigers as the Rattlers swept the Tigers in Tallahassee this season with scores of
5-3,
6-5 (9), and
6-5.
The game will be called by Rattler bowling alumna Tiffany Greene and two-time national champion Erin Miller.
