ATLANTA | Florida A&M's track and field program competed in the Georgia Tech Invite Friday (April 21), and day one highlights included a medalist performance and three other "Top 10" results.
Dajon Clark tabbed the Rattlers' best finish, placing third overall (7.16 meters / 23' 6") in the long jump. Mia Heard (5.68m / 18' 7.75) and Peter Sailsman (6.86m / 22' 6.25") were also successful in the event, coming in at eighth and ninth, respectively.
Lauryn Hall (11.62) led the Rattler contingent placing eighth in a 71-person field in the 100-meter dash, while Clark posted a 12th-place time of 10.56.
The team continues its Georgia appearance Saturday. Field events begin at noon.
