MONTGOMERY, Ala. –– The Rattlers traveled to Montgomery, Alabama, for a doubleheader versus Alabama A&M and dropped both games to the Bulldogs.
GAME ONE | Lost, 8-1
Senior
Nadia Zenteno (7-8) started and took the loss in the circle for Florida A&M (17-17, 10-6). Sophomore LaurynPeppers was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going 1.2 shutout innings without allowing a hit, walking one and striking out two. Offensively, the Rattlers were paced by Fox, who went 1-for-3 on the day with an RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 8-0, the Rattlers first put runs on the board in the seventh inning. Florida A&M got an RBI single from Fox, scoring junior
Mia Blasingane from first base. The ballgame ended with that seventh inning rally falling short.

Kiauna Watson also helped out, going 1-for-4 for Florida A&M with an RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rattlers got the scoring started early, putting one run on the board in the top of the first inning. Senior
Jania Davis came across to score the lone run of the inning for Florida A&M and get them on the board.
The Rattlers lost the lead they built in the first, but got back on the board in the sixth trailing 4-1. Florida A&M scored three times, picking up one on an RBI base knock off the bat of Watson, which brought the score level at 4-4. Alabama A&M then scored one time over the remaining two innings to break the tie and grab the 5-4 win.
