LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Junior Sebastian Greico racked up five RBIs, but the Florida A&M Rattlers fell to the Grambling Tigers 20-16 on Saturday.
Junior Xerian Ximines (1-2) took the loss on the mound for Florida A&M (5-8). Senior Amir Asghar was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going 2.1 innings, surrendering one run on two hits, walking two and striking out four.
Greico went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and a walk in addition to his five RBIs for the Rattlers. Senior Janmikell Bastardo put together a noteworthy performance at the plate as well, going 2-for-4 with a double, two walks and two RBI. Junior JD Tease also contributed for Florida A&M, putting together one hit in one trip to the plate while adding three walks and two RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rattlers put runs on the scoreboard first, starting the scoring in the second inning. Florida A&M's offense started clicking and put up 12 runs, including a two-run single off the bat of Greico and a two-run single from senior Jared Weber.
The Rattlers then lost some of their lead, expanding on their advantage in the third inning after the Tigers cut it to 12-6. Freshman Joseph Pierini came across to score the lone run of the inning for Florida A&M, which brought the score to 13-6 in favor of the Rattlers.

The Rattlers were unable to get any closer, as Grambling added one run to their tally on the way to a 20-16 final.
