TROY, Ala. --Four pitchers combined to throw a shutout on Wednesday as the Troy Trojans blanked the Florida A&M Rattlers 10-0.
Sophomore Dallas Tease (0-2) got the ball to start for Florida A&M (9-12) and took the loss.
At the plate, the Rattlers were led by junior Joseph Pierini, who went 2-for-3 on the day with a double. Junior Ty Jackson furnished a standout day at the dish as well, going 1-for-3 with a double.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Florida A&M managed zero chances with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position. The Rattlers last got a runner on third in the sixth, when Jackson made it 90 feet away from scoring with one out.
