TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --The Florida A&M men's basketball team got a 29-point showing from the bench, but fell 69-55 to the Grambling Tigers at home Saturday.
The Rattlers (7-20, 5-11) had two players score in double figures, led by Jordan Chatman, who had 11 points and nine rebounds. Noah Meren added 11 points and Jaylen Bates added six points and two blocks.

Grambling kept widening its lead after intermission, constructing a 60-28 advantage before Florida A&M went on an 11-0 run to shrink the deficit to 60-39 with 5:29 to go in the contest. The Rattlers kept their comeback going, but Grambling managed to hold on for the 69-55 win. Florida A&M got a boost from its bench in the period, as non-starters accounted for 21 of its 38 total points.
