Rattlers host Grambling State on Senior Day

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M women's basketball will face Grambling State on February 25 at 2 PM. The Rattlers will honor and celebrate its seniors for Senior Day. The Rattlers will host Southern Monday, February 27 at 5:30 PM for the final home game of the season.

Seniors
The Rattlers will be honoring Mikyah MackCaylan Jones, Staysha Allen, Dylan Horton, Paulla Weekes, and Mide Oriyomi.

Last Outing
The Rattlers fell 77-65 to Alabama A&M Monday. The Rattlers had two players score in double figures, led by Dylan Horton, who had 21 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Paulla Weekes added 12 points, and Ahriahna Grizzle added nine points, eight assists, and five steals. Florida A&M out-rebounded Alabama A&M 42-39 in Monday's game, led by Staysha Allen's 12 boards. The Rattlers also pulled down 13 offensive rebounds and scored nine second chance points.

FAMU Notes 

Crashing The Boards: Mide Oriyomi leads the Rattlers with 127 rebounds, averaging 5.3 per game. Paulla Weekes is second on the team with 107 rebounds, averaging 5.6 per game.

Getting to the line:  Dylan Horton also ranks sixth in the SWAC in free throw percentage (77.5).

De-fense, De-fense: The Rattlers have four players ranked in the top 10 in the SWAC in steals per game: Dylan Horton and Ahriahna Grizzle are tied, ranking fourth (2.10), Ivet Subirats ranks sixth (1.9). Mide Oriyomi ranks ninth (1.7).
