YOUNGSVILLE, La. --The Florida A&M Rattlers were not able to score a run against Northwestern State pitcher sophomore Maggie Darr on Friday and were shut out 9-0 by the Lady Demons.
Sophomore Lauryn Peppers (0-2) got the ball to start for Florida A&M (2-5) and took the loss.
Senior Jania Davis led the way offensively for the Rattlers, going 1-for-2 in the ballgame.

Florida A&M managed one chance with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 1-for-3 with runners in scoring position. The Rattlers last got a runner on third in the third, when freshman Neriah Lee made it 60 feet away from scoring with one out.
