OMAHA, Neb. --The Florida A&M men's basketball team could not keep up in a 105-54 loss to the Creighton Bluejays on the road Tuesday.
The Rattlers (0-1) had two players score in double figures, led by Keith Lamar, who had 16 points and two blocks. K'Jei Parker added 12 points and Hantz Louis-Jeune added nine points.
Florida A&M came away with five blocks. Chase Barrs led the way individually for the Rattlers with two rejections.
How It Happened
Florida A&M struggled out of the gate, falling behind 56-27 heading into halftime.
Creighton kept widening its lead after intermission, constructing a 95-45 advantage before Florida A&M went on a 5-0 run to shrink the deficit to 95-50 with 3:38 to go in the contest. Creighton responded and outscored the Rattlers the rest of the way, ending the game with a final score of 105-54.
