Rattlers look to win 14th straight SWAC game at Alabama A&M

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. –– Rattlers have been on a roll in the SWAC, having won their last 13 conference games and looking to win their 14th straight at Alabama A&M to improve their conference record to 7-0 to host the SWAC Championship game.

FLORIDA A&M RATTLERS
The Rattlers continue to show to have one of the best defenses in the nation as they're ranked in the top 25 in 11 categories: first down defense (23rd), red zone defense (18th), passing defense (17th), passing efficiency defense (13th), rushing defense (7th), team sacks (7th), defensive touchdowns (5th), total defense (4th), 3rd down defense (4th), scoring defense (3rd), and tackles for loss (1st).
 
The Rattlers possess some of the best defensive players in the nation, as Isaiah Major is one of the best at compiling solo tackles as he's ranked 10th in the nation, averaging 5.8 solo tackles per game. Anthony Dunn Jr. has lived in the backfield as he's ranked 7th in sacks (.94) and 25th in tackles for loss (1.3). Gentle Hunt and Isaiah Major are also ranked 31st in tackles for loss (1.2).
 
 
Offensively, the Rattlers have one of the best passing attacks, ranked 22nd in the nation and 1st in the SWAC, averaging 259.6 passing yards per game. Quarterback Jeremy Moussa comes into the game ranked 16th in passing yards (2,021) and 9th in passing touchdowns (17). 
 
The Rattlers have two of the top returners in the nation as Marcus Riley is 5th in the nation in kick returns (30.4 yards per kick return), and Jah'Marae Sheread is 7th in punt returns (15.9 yards per punt return).
 
ALABAMA A&M BULLDOGS
The Bulldogs enter the game after losing the Magic City Classis to Alabama State and look to get back in the win column. The Bulldogs come into the game with the 3rd best offense in the SWAC, averaging 380.6 yards per game. They're ranked nationally at 47 in passing and rushing yards. The Bulldogs' primary playmaker is receiver and returner Terrell Gardner, that's 47th in the nation with 102 all-purpose yards per game. Their other primary offensive playmakers are dual-threat quarterback Xavier Langford and running backs Donovan Eaglin and Ryan Morrow. 
 
On defense, the Bulldogs' strength is stopping the run, as they're ranked 29th in the nation in rushing defense but 57th in passing defense. The Bulldogs' leading tacklers are Jordan Mitchell (46), Marvin Smith (45), and Zareon Hayes (39).
