TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M was victorious in the opening set but couldn't maintain the pressure in a 3-1 non-conference loss (26-24, 18-25, 14-25, 23-25) to North Florida Tuesday (Oct. 3).
The Rattlers were led by a double-double from Brooke Lynn Watts, who registered 19 kills and 10 digs. Shelby Chamblin also added nine kills. On the defensive end, Brooke Hudson chipped in with 21 digs.

SET 1 | Impressive serving helped the Rattlers grab the first set, 26-24. They opened up a 12-6 and coasted to victory from there.
SET 2 | Florida A&M trailed by as many as seven points as North Florida grabbed the advantage for good at 8-7. The set was knotted up five times before the Ospreys gained their advantage.
SET 3 | The Rattlers fell behind on the first point and were unable to mount a comeback in the 25-14 decision.
SET 4 | The scoreboard read 23-22, the Ospreys up, late in the frame, and while FAMU spoiled UNF's set point on the next possession, an Osprey kill closed the match not long after.
