TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Monday (Oct. 23) has been circled on the calendar for months as Florida A&M welcomes 11 other league competitors to Apalachee Regional Park for the 2023 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Cross Country Championships.

The championship meet will be live streamed on the SWAC Digital Network, with the women's 5K race beginning at 9 a.m. ET and the men's 8K at 10 a.m. ET.

The Rattlers have officially competed at Apalachee Regional Park twice this season, the TCC Cross Country Invite (Sept. 8) and the FSU Invite (Sept. 29), and the latter meet captured personal records by Niya Coleman (20:04.1), Serenity Williams (20.51.9), and Alesia Douglas (21:07.4).

Coleman is one of three true freshmen on FAMU's 2023 roster and has clocked the highest finish in two of the team's last three meets.
