Rattlers take on Grambling State in Louisiana Monday night

GRAMBLING, La. –– Florida A&M men's basketball looks to repeat their 2022 SWAC start with a win versus the Tigers after losing their first two SWAC games.

Scouting the Rattlers
Jordan Tillmon leads the Rattlers in scoring during SWAC play (17 PPG), while Dimingus Stevens (12.5 PPG), Byron Smith (11 PPG), and Jaylen Bates (8 PPG) follow. Stevens scored a career-high 23 points at Southern.
• Bates leads the Rattlers in rebounds, averaging 8.5 RPG during SWAC play. Bates grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds versus Bethune-Cookman.
• The Rattlers' strength this season has been crashing the offensive glass (10.69 ORPG) and forcing turnovers (13.38 PG).
 
Scouting the Tigers
• Cameron Christon (#1) is the Tigers most prolific scorer for the Tigers during SWAC play, averaging 20.3 PPG. Virshon Cotton (#0, 12.3 PPG), Shawndarius Cowart (#10, 11.3 PPG), and Carte'are Gordon (#4, 8.7 PPG) are other key scorers for the Tigers.
• The Tigers have one of the best defenses in the nation (#21) and the best in the SWAC, holding teams to 38.7% shooting from the field.
• The Tigers were the only SWAC school to have a winning non-conference record, as they had Power-5 wins at home versus Colorado (83-74) and on the road at Vanderbilt (64-62).
