The Rattlers are coming off a 72-60 loss to the Alcorn State Lady Braves on the road Saturday. Dylan Horton led the Rattlers with 16 points, five assists, and three steals. Mide Oriyomi added seven points, nine rebounds, two steals, and two blocks, and Ivet Subirats helped out with nine points and two steals. Oriyomi pulled down five offensive rebounds to pace an offense that racked up second chance opportunities for the Rattlers, grabbing 12 boards and turning them into 13 second chance points. The Florida A&M defense was a problem in Saturday's game, forcing 22 Alcorn State turnovers while committing 21. Those takeaways turned into 22 points on the offensive end of the floor. Horton's three steals led the way individually for the Rattlers.

Scouting the Tigers (vs. Bethune-Cookman 1/21)

• Jackson State shot 32-of-53 (60.4 percent) from the field and 13-for-20 (65 percent) from the three-point line.
• The Tigers finished with 44 points in the paint, 34 bench points, 12 second chance points, 11 points off 13 BCU turnovers, and seven fast break points.
• Jackson State recorded 15 total assists in the game.
• The Jackson State's bench added 35 points to its scoring output.
• Jackson State had a 34-14 edge on the boards.
• The Jackson State defense forced 13 turnovers.
• The Tigers were active in affecting shots on the defensive end, tallying seven blocks as a team.
• Ti'lan Boler led the Lady Tigers with 20 points.
• Jackson State got a game-high nine rebounds from both Daphane White and Angel Jackson.
