Rattlers Return to Al Lawson for SWAC Opener Versus Bethune-Cookman

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M men's basketball returns to Al Lawson for their SWAC opener versus rival Bethune-Cookman Monday, January 2, 2023, following the women's basketball game.
 
The Rattlers look forward to SWAC play after playing the nation's most challenging schedule during non-conference (number one ranked strength of schedule on ESPN).

Scouting the Rattlers
Jaylen Bates leads the Rattlers in scoring (10.4 PPG). Jordan Tillmon (9.3 PPG), Dimingus Stevens (8.3 PPG), and Byron Smith (8 PPG) are behind Bates, as the Rattlers have four averaging 8+ PPG.
• Bates leads the Rattlers in rebounds, averaging 6.4 RPG and double-doubles with two (both in wins).
• The Rattlers' strength this season has been crashing the offensive glass (11 ORPG) and forcing turnovers (13.82 PG)
