Birmingham, Ala. | The Florida A&M men's basketball team's season has come to an end. The Rattlers (#4) came up short against the (#5) Alabama A&M Bulldogs, losing 61-56 in the quarterfinal of the SWAC Tournament.
The Rattlers and the Bulldogs split the regular-season contests, with the Bulldogs beating the Rattlers 71-63 in the most recent meeting (2/21). In Saturday's Quarterfinal match-up, both teams averaged around the same percentage in field goals and three-pointers. However, the Bulldogs were able to out-rebound the Rattlers and get to the free-throw line down the stretch.
