Dylan Horton totaled 23 points in the Rattlers 74-54 on the road against Jacksonville Thursday. Florida A&M struggled out of the gate, falling behind 21-11 at the end of the first quarter. The Rattlers continued to lose ground in the second quarter and faced a 37-24 halftime deficit. Jacksonville stretched its lead to 58-45, heading into the fourth. FAMU could not pull any closer during the fourth and final period.
Scouting the Wildcats
Guard Chanel Wilson had a strong showing at the Hatter Classic (12/19), totaling 38 points, eight assists, three steals, and a block. In BCU's win against Winthrop, she shot 55 percent from the field with four three-pointers to lead the Wildcats to their first win of the season. For that week, she averaged 19.3 points per outing, along with 3.3 assists.
