Last Outing
The Rattlers are coming off an 88-58 road loss to the Cal Golden Bears. The Rattlers had two players score in double figures, led by Horton, who had 22 points. Skylar Baltezegar added 10 points and seven rebounds, and Paulla Weekes added nine points. Led by Baltezegar's four offensive rebounds, Florida A&M did a great job crashing the offensive glass, pulling down 11 boards that resulted in five second chance points.
Scouting the Dolphins
- The Jacksonville roster features seven newcomers this season: four transfers and three true freshmen.
- Redshirt-Senior guard Deshari Graham appeared in 24 games last season, averaging 9.9 points a game.
- Shynia Jackson leads the Dolphins in rebounds averaging 5.4 a game.
- The Dolphins forced 40 turnovers against Johnson University.
- Seraphine Bastin made history by recording the program's first triple-double against USF.
- KayKay Hayes becomes the third-most points in a single game in program history.
Notes
- Skylar Baltezegar ranks second in the SWAC in blocks per game with 1.6. She also ranks second in the SWAC in total blocks, with 16.
- Ahriahna Grizzle and Horton are top two in the SWAC in the free throw percentage category. Grizzle has an 87.1 average, while Horton has an 82.8 average.
- Ivet Subirats is ranked sixth in the SWAC in steals averaging 1.8 per game.
