TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M's Isaiah Land was named the East-West Shrine Bowl and Draft HBCU Players HBCU Defensive Player of the Week after his performance in the 34-7 win versus Mississippi Valley.
The reigning Buck Buchanan Award winner found himself in the backfield making plays as he led the Rattlers with two tackles for loss while adding a sack, forced fumble, fumble recovery, a quarterback hurry, and three tackles in the 34-7 win versus Mississippi Valley. The win gave the Rattlers their 13th straight win in Bragg (2nd longest streak in the nation).
Land and the Rattlers head to Orangeburg, South Carolina, this weekend for a game versus South Carolina State Saturday, October 8, at 2 p.m. Eastern.
