Rattlers Set to Travel to Alabama

When (at ASU): Monday, Jan. 31 | 5:30 p.m. CT / 6:30 p.m. ET

COVID-19 Protocol (from ASU Athletics) | Alabama State requires all spectators to present a negative result of a COVID test, taken within 72 hours, prior to attending athletic events on campus.

For Monday's game:
•   Fans who have the required negative test result should come to the Dunn-Oliver Acadome before game time and present their results along with their tickets.
NOTE: The University will not accept results from home COVID tests, and there will be no testing on-site.
•   On game day, tickets can only be purchased at the ASU Stadium Ticket Office. No tickets will be sold at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome.
•   The player pass list will also be located at the stadium ticket office, with each person on the list subject to the same testing procedures.

National Exposure | FAMU men's and women's basketball will have a chance to shine on national television when the Rattlers host Texas Southern on NBA TV (Feb. 5). Women's action is set to tip at 2 p.m.

The Last Outing | After a four-game hiatus, Malerie Brooks returned to action versus Jackson State, where she recorded a team-high 12 points. The final score fell, 90-34, to the Lady Tigers.

The Freshmen | Jamaryn Blair, Naomi Johnson, and Alexis Roberts are receiving their first taste of collegiate basketball as three of the four true freshmen on the 2021-22 roster. Blair has seen the most action on the floor, with 17.4 minutes per game, and the guard is currently second on the team in assists (27).

Blair | Thirteen appearances with two starts (at Tulsa, at Dayton) … 17.4 MPG, 2.3 PPG, 1.8 RPG
Johnson | Two appearances … saw the floor for the very first time and recorded a team-high seven rebounds at MVSU
Roberts | Two appearances with one start (at Georgia State) … 7.4 MPG, 1.3 PPG, 1.2 RPG
