FAMU Falls to Jackson State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M women's basketball team fell 90-34 to Jackson State Monday (Jan. 24). The matchup saw Malerie Brooks return to action after a four-game hiatus, and the sophomore guard dropped a team-high 12 points.

On the opposite side of the court, four Lady Tigers reached double-figures in what was the second-most points FAMU has allowed all season. JSU used a 34-5 run, covering nine minutes of play, to jump out to a 35-12 lead with 4:39 left in the second quarter and never looked back. 

The Rattlers are on the road for their next two games at Alabama A&M (Saturday) and Alabama State (Monday).
