Florida A&M Volleyball Opens Up Season Versus Three Opponents in Mobile

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M volleyball is finally playing a match that counts in the win-loss column tomorrow morning in Mobile, Alabama, as they face South Alabama at 11:00 AM, Followed by two more games this weekend versus Charleston Southern and Jacksonville.
 
"We are excited to finally take the court this weekend," says head coach Gokhan Yilmaz. "We play three quality opponents this weekend, and our team realizes we have to work hard to compete.
 
"We had a very productive preseason camp, and now we have to make sure what we practiced is applied in-game situations. We are looking forward to starting the season against quality opponents."

About the Rattlers
-Rattlers return three from the 2019 roster (Kalen Blathers, Reanna Wilson, Alexys Mann)

-Buccaneers return 12 student-athletes from their 2021 spring squad, including 99% of their kills and 85% of their service aces on the attack, and 99% of their blocks on defense
 
Scouting the Dolphins
-Dolphins finished 3-14 in spring 2021
-Dolphins return their leader in kills in Jenna McNamara
-Dolphins seniors Barbora Romancova and Isa Dostal are also back after posting better than 90 kills and 30 blocks each during the spring campaign
