SWAC Recognition
Dylan Horton became the first Rattler to garner Southwestern Athletic Conference Player of the Week accolades this season (Dec. 23). The junior guard averaged 16.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in FAMU's non-conference outings versus Georgia State, Coastal Carolina, and the College of the Charleston.

Harris & Horton
Anisja Harris and Dylan Horton recorded double-digit points in both games of the Coastal Carolina Christmas Classic (Dec. 18-19). Harris notched the Rattlers' first double-double of the year on 12 points and 10 rebounds against CoC, while Horton recorded a team-high 15 points. The duo contributed 16 and 14, respectively, versus the Chanticleers.

Horton has surpassed double figures in all but one game during the 2020-21 campaign.

The Last Outing
With one final game before the start of its SWAC schedule, FAMU has found its stride at just the right time. Two of its last three outings were decided by less than 10 points, and the contest against CCU was tied heading into the final minute.

The Rattlers posted a pair of season's best versus in the game versus CCU: points (72) and field goal percentage (51.9)
FAMU pulled within 11, with 7:16 left against CoC, but couldn't overcome the poor showing in the second quarter where it was outscored 22-4
