The Last Outing
The Florida A&M women's basketball team met Tulsa for the first time in program history Wednesday (Nov. 17), and the series opener went to the Golden Hurricane by a score of 79-52.

• In a tale of two halves, FAMU greatly improved its offensive production from 13 points in the opening 20 minutes to 41 in the latter.
• Malerie Brooks was instrumental in the second-half turnaround; the sophomore captain set a new career-high with 16 points -- all recorded in the second half -- after hitting her first five shots from the floor.
• Dylan Horton recorded double-figures in back-to-back games with 11 points in the season-opener at Troy (Nov. 11) and 13 at Tulsa (Nov. 17)

The Rebounder 
One game. 15 rebounds. Staysha Allen left her mark in the Rattlers' season-opener for a game-high, career-high 15 boards (Nov. 11). The tally sits atop the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) as the most recorded in a single game thus far.  

The junior forward averaged 2.9 rebounds during the entire 2019-20 season.
