The Florida A&M women's basketball team continues its non-conference slate at Tulsa Wednesday (Nov. 17).

The Last Outing
FAMU hit the road for its 2021-22 season-opener, where it fell, 79-50, at Troy (Nov. 11).

• Troy held a 16-6 lead at the first media timeout and maintained the advantage the entire night.
• FAMU's entire starting five made their Rattler debut: Dylan Horton, Anisja Harris, Malerie Brooks, Tia Bradshaw, and Maleaha Bell
• Prior to Wednesday's contest, the Rattlers' last official game took place March 5, 2020, after the 2020-21 season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Anisah Douglas and Horton led FAMU's offense with 13 and 11 points, respectively.

The Rebounder
One game. 15 rebounds. Staysha Allen left her mark in the Rattlers' season-opener for a game-high, career-high 15 boards (Nov. 11). The tally also sits atop the Southwestern Athletic Conference as the most recorded in a single game thus far.

The junior forward averaged 2.9 rebounds during the entire 2019-20 season.

Number Called
Anisah Douglas came off the bench to record a team-high 13 points in FAMU's season-opening setback against the Trojans, and 11 points were notched in the second half. Douglas finished 6-for-13 from the floor and added a pair of steals, no turnovers, in 24 minutes of play.
