BIRMINGHAM, Ala. / CHICAGO, Ill. | Rattlers have two players earn Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) honors and one earning Stats Perform national player of the week following the 31-28 win at Mississippi Valley State. 

Jah'Marae Sheread

Sheread earned SWAC Special Teams Player of the Week and Stats Perform National Special Teams Player of the week after he returned five punts for an FCS season-high 154 yards and scored one of his four touchdowns on a 59-yard return in Florida A&M's 31-28 SWAC win at Mississippi Valley State. The other three TDs occurred on receptions, including a 19-yarder that reversed the Rattlers' 28-24 deficit with 6:32 to play. Sheread caught eight passes for 88 yards.

Isaiah Land

Land earned SWAC Defensive Player of the Week after having another dominating performance in the backfield during Florida A&M's win at Mississippi Valley State. He recorded six tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. Land currently leads the nation in sacks and tackles for loss.

The Rattlers return to action in Bragg Memorial Stadium this Saturday, October 30, versus Grambling State at 4 p.m. for homecoming and senior day.
