TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M's Isaiah Land sets a new single-game sack record with five in the Rattlers 30-7 victory over the South Carolina State Bulldogs.
"I don't think about stats. If it's a pass play, I'm trying to get to the quarterback. If it's a run, I'm trying to stop the running back. I'm just out there trying to do my job," said Isaiah Land.
DEFENSE DOMINATES AGAIN
The defense continues their mission to prove there is no defense more dominant than the Rattlers. The Rattlers nearly recorded back-to-back shutouts giving up a late touchdown to the Bulldogs, but they still showed their dominance, forcing four turnovers and recording a season-high seven sacks.
The Rattlers also held the Bulldogs to a season-low 134 total yards of offense, an offense coming into today ranked 26th in the nation.

BONNETT COULDN'T BE STOPPED
Bishop Bonnett came in with something to prove after a down game the last two weeks, and he did just that, rushing for a career-high 118 yards. Bonnett also added a touchdown for the second straight week.
"I know I always run hard. My mindset today was run and don't get easily tackled. I felt that I should've had three touchdowns. There's still a lot of things I need to work on in practice," said Bishop Bonnett.
JENNINGS, YOUNG SCORES AGAIN
Bishop Bonnett was not the only player to reach the end zone for the second straight week, as running back Terrell Jennings scored the first touchdown of the game on a 3-yard run, and Kamari Young scored the first touchdown of the second half on a 34-yard pass from Rasean McKay.
The Rattlers return to action next Saturday, October 16, in Huntsville, Alabama, as Florida A&M takes on Alabama A&M at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
