TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M University Vice President and Director of Athletics
Kortne Gosha released a statement in regards to the 2020 Orange Blossom Classic.
"In light of the recent events with the current pandemic, as well as the decision from Albany State to cancel the football season, we felt that it would be in our best interest to forgo participating in the 2020 Orange Blossom Classic. We realize that this was a difficult decision on all levels, but we also feel that this was the best decision for our program," Gosha said. "Despite the setback of not playing in the Orange Blossom Classic this year, we are excited and look forward to opening the 2021 season and our inaugural season in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) against conference foe Jackson State in the 47th Annual Orange Blossom Classic."
