BOCA RATON, Fla. | The Florida A&M University women's tennis team returned to the courts after being off for 12 days as the Lady Rattlers fell to Florida Atlantic, 4-0, on Friday afternoon at the FAU Tennis Complex.
 
The Owls (2-0) won the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 2 to take a 1-0 advantage into singles action.
 
In singles play, FAMU dropped matches at No. 5 and No. 6 as Florida Atlantic picked up the 4-0 victory.
 
Florida A&M returns to action on Saturday at Florida Gulf Coast. First serve is scheduled for 10 a.m. in Fort Myers, Fla.
