TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M University head men's golf coach
Mike Rice announced the signings of Marcus and Miles Taylor for the upcoming year.
The twin brothers will be coming to FAMU from Dainfern College in Johannesburg, South Africa.
"We are extremely happy to announce these two have signed and are committed to the Florida A&M men's golf program," Rice said. "Both are tremendous golfers and we look forward to having them here at the Highest of the Seven Hills."
Marcus, who posts an 18-hole average of 70.1, is ranked No. 21 in the junior Golf Scoreboard Ranking. At the CGGU Private Schools Tournament in late August, he shot a 67 and a 70 to win the tournament out of 40 golfers. A five-star golfer, Marcus placed second in the tournament the week prior, with a 69 and 70.
Miles is right behind his twin brother with an 18-hole average of 72. In tournament play, he averaged a 73 and is ranked No. 62 on the junior golf scoreboard ranking. The 4.5-star golfer also spent 10 years playing soccer and seven in track and field.
