TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M University men's tennis team opened the 2020 season on Friday afternoon with a 4-0 loss to Louisiana at the Rattler Tennis Center.
Florida A&M (0-1) dropped the doubles point and Louisiana (1-0) completed the win with three straight singles victories.
In doubles play, the team of Ivailo Keremedchiev and Pierce Gilheany defeated
Eliott Ekindi and
Robert Hayden, 6-1 and the Ragin' Cajuns completed the sweep when Kacper Dworak and Jan Galka knocked off
Petr Cervinka and
Jean-Baptiste Mbong, 6-3.
Louisiana won the match with singles victories at No. 6, No. 5 and No. 4.
