TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M University men's tennis team continued its home campaign on Friday with a pair of matches as the Rattlers fell to Florida Atlantic in the morning contest, 4-0, and followed that with a 4-0 decision to Louisiana at the Rattler Tennis Center.

Florida Atlantic (4-0 loss)
The Owls claimed the doubles point and won at No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6 singles to pick up the victory.

In singles action, Filip Krolo defeated
Robert Hayden, 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3 and Thomas Guy bested
Rodeny Sturgis, 6-4, 6-1, at No. 5, which sealed the win for the Owls.

Louisiana (4-0 loss)
The Ragin' Cajuns captured the doubles point and earned the win with victories at No. 6, No. 5 and No. 3 singles.

In doubles play, the team of
Petr Cervinka and
Eliott Ekindi fell to Pierce Gilheany and Silvio Cocito-Monoc, 6-3, while Jamie Fraser and Ivailo Keremedchieve defeated
Jean-Baptiste Mbong and Hayden, 6-1.

In singles play, despite dropping three matches, the Rattlers were ahead at No. 2 as Mbong led Kacper Dworak, 5-4 and Ekindi was ahead at No. 4, 5-4, over Stefan Gazo.

Florida A&M returns to the courts on Saturday with a match at Florida State. First serve is set for 3 p.m. from the Scott Speicher Tennis Center.
