BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Pache' Caldwell won the long jump, while Jonae Harris qualified for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships as the Florida A&M men's and women's indoor track and field teams had a big day at the KMS Invitational held at the Birmingham Crossplex.
 
Women's Track Events
> Zahkaria Frett placed seventh in the 60m dash, with a time of 7.77
> In the 60m hurdles, Jonae Harris registered a personal best and qualified for the MEAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, with a time of 8.76 to claim third
> Ilyria Johns and Zahkaria Frett placed seventh and eighth, respectively, in 25.45 and 24.06
> Lonzetta Simpkins registered a seventh-place finish in the 400m dash, with a time of 59.19
> In the 3,000m, Mercy Rotich finished fourth at 10:39.05
 
Women's Field Events
> Rachel Robinson finished second in the high jump at 1.70m
> Brianna Washington placed sixth in the long jump, with a leap of 5.25m
> Kiara Ivy registered a second-place finish in the pole vault, with a toss of 3.35m
> In the weight throw, Alelee Figueroa finished ninth at 16.39m
 
Men's Track Events
> Timothy Ashley placed ninth in the 200m dash in 22.29
> In the 400m dash, Jaylyn Scott finished sixth, in 49.34
> The 4x400m relay team of Ralph Goodman, Jordan Nance, Timothy Ashley and Jaylyn Scott claimed the title, with a time of 3:19.93
 
Men's Field Events
> Pache' Caldwell won the long jump, with a jump of 6.91m
> Pache' Caldwell finished fifth in the high jump, with a leap of 1.95m
> Joshua Butler tallied a ninth-place finish in the shot put, with a toss of 13.72m
> In the triple jump, M'Kharis Linsey and Michael Crimbley placed fifth and eighth, respectively at 13.36m and 12.96m
