HATTIESBURG, Miss. | The Florida A&M University men's tennis team began play at the Southern Miss Spring Invitational on Friday morning with a 4-0 loss to Alcorn State.

The two teams were tied at 0 after doubles action, but Alcorn State won the match with singles wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 5.
 
Florida A&M (0-6) concludes play at the Southern Miss Spring Invitational on Saturday against host Southern Miss. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
