CLEMSON, S.C. | The Florida A&M University men's and women's indoor track and field teams were in action on Saturday with several top performances at the Clemson Orange and Purple Elite at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex.
Women's Track Events
> In the 200m, Zahkaria Frett claimed 10th, with a time of 25.44
>
Lonzetta Simpkins (58.65) and Zahkaria Frett (100.60) finished eighth, and 10th, respectively, in the 400m
Women's Field Events
> Rachel Robinson placed sixth in the high jump, with a leap of 1.60m
> In the shot put, FAMU captured spots sixth through eighth.
Alelee Figueroa (11.28m),
Kynnydy McCullough (10.73m) and
Hunter Walker (9.92m) all earned top marks
>
Alelee Figueroa finished fourth in the weight throw at 16.06m
Men's Track Events
>
Timothy Ashley placed fifth in the 200m, with a time of 21.89
> In the 400m,
Jaylyn Scott claimed ninth-place as he crossed the line in 49.07
Men's Field Events
>
Pache' Caldwell finished fourth in the high jump, with a jump of 1.95m
> In the shot put,
Joshua Butler placed sixth, with a toss of 13.07m
> M'Kharis Linsey registered an eighth-place finish in the triple jump at 13.39m
>
Joshua Butler finished fourth in the weight throw at 13.89m
